National full service low voltage provider seeking proven Operations LEADER for their ATLANTA , GA office operations. Responsible for managing team of commercial SECURITY AND FIRE ALARM Field professionals. Manage the Operations function ensuring strong customer relationships are established and maintained while also driving employees to achieve business goals. Assist employees in determining margins, identifying resources and assessing future potential business. Participate in selling to large/key accounts as needed. Provide input for best practice work and encourage employees to incorporate new ideas into projects. Develop forecast and provide input to budget. Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to maximize impact to Company.Maintain ongoing contacts with large/key accounts and consider these customers needs relative to new product development.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering or other related field. Has 5+ years of operational leadership experience including a minimum of 5 years of experience managing COMMERCIAL Security/Fire alarm servie or installation teams. Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills for coaching staff and interfacing with customers. Understanding of fire and security systems, products, service, design and knowledge of the construction industry preferred.
UNDERSTANDING OF P&L, BUDGET and associated metrics are important.
