ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. To perform this job successfully, the Small Business and Residential Sales Manager may be expected to perform some or all of the duties listed. Hire, train, and manage residential security consultants that sell systems in a defined market area. Provide sales training for consultants as needed basis. Responsible for achieving all budgeted residential sales production targets for the branch Must ensure all installations are sold and installed within the company financial and quality expectations. Must have reliable transportation to visit clients and prospects. Some travel is required. Other duties may be assigned. Comply with Company's vehicle policy. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Knowledge
Knowledge and extensive understanding of company policy/procedures required to successfully perform the Sales Manager’s role.
Complete knowledge and understanding of the company’s approved equipment list and all associated RMR services.
Knowledge of the company and how to utilize all company resources.
Knowledge of and a proficiency in using Computer and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), and Internet.
