National Fire life Safety Company seeking a Senior Integrated Security Sales Account Manager for their Cincinnati Area office. POSITON FOCUS WILL BE IN THE ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS SECTOR. Manages and grows assigned territory or group of accounts. Develops and implements plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers or territory. Team sells with other Salespeople as appropriate. Effectively performs needs assessments, develops sales proposals, estimates, specifications and presentations. Ensures a smooth sale to operations turnover and monitors progress. Participates in civic and professional organizations, and sales department meetings, workshops and seminars. Keeps current on market business and product trends. Continues to pursue in-depth product and service knowledge and acquire deeper selling, technical and financial skills. If focused on managing current accounts: Develops and deploys account strategies. Prepares annual technology roadmap for each accounts managed. Develops and builds long-term relationships. Expand the value of assigned accounts for all Company offerings. Primary point of contact with end-user. Develops and maintains contacts with architects, consulting engineers, specification writers, building owners and contractors, to promote company products and services. Helps ensure assigned contractors are providing appropriate opportunities to Company. May focus on prospecting directly to new end-users.
Must be comfortable with calling on C-Level Executives within the Enterprise Solutions arena (Large Industrial, commercial, campus environments as well as hospitals, Office Buildings etc). Initiates / builds / maintains long-term relationships with the appropriate account decision makers directly or through channel partners. Participates in client presentations articulating the value proposition of product / solution / service offerings. Assists in supporting the handling of customer concerns.
Knowledge and Experience:
Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments. Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Typically 3-5 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
Education:
Requires a Bachelors degree in engineering, business or a similar field with four to six years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Requires medium level technical and financial knowledge to effectively estimate and sell Company security solutions lines with some degree of independence.
