The Client Manager:
· Schedules, prepares for, and attends meetings with key decision makers of target organizations
· Uses our CM (Customer Management) system to thoroughly document all client activity
· Maintains consistent goals while representing The Company’s ‘Path to Value’ business strategy
· Focuses on public and/or private accounts with preference to clients who can negotiate procurement without a public “low bid” process
· Aggressively pursues all potential large accounts in the area and offers information on our services and solutions, regardless of who their current vendor is or type of system installed
· Demonstrates and documents a constant effort to be innovative and proactive in the development of sales and sales leads
· Continuously strives to position The Company as the leader in our market place with the best client-specific solutions and support capabilities
· Identifies and develops relationships with area top Architects, Engineers, and Consultants
· Initiates lead for our Professional Services Group to ‘consult’ on new projects to design and influence specifications before documents are released for competitive bid. The ultimate goal is for the Architects, Engineers and Consultants to recommend the end user/owner collaborate directly with The Company to design, install, and maintain security system(s) without an open-bidding process.
At least five years demonstrated experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Higher education preferred.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint software. They must use The Company’s ACT sales & marketing program on a daily basis, entering all new prospect and client data into ACT database.
